Inspired from the Far Eastern opium dens of the 1920's and the lavish smoking houses of Marrakech. With its comfortable boudoir seating and beautiful Moroccan beds strewn with silk scatter cushions The Opium Lounge creates an atmosphere that screams luxury.

Every Thursday we host Happy Thursdays, resident DJ's & guest bands. Fridays are OSF, resident & international guest DJ's playing club classics & Funky House, also on the third Friday of the month we host our monthly guest promotion Be Somebody. Saturdays are A LA MODE, our most glamorous night, a blend of the finest clientle & officially the very best DJ's playing Upfront Funky & Electro House.

Alex Arnout: A La Mode DJ
A La Mode resident dj since the launch night in 2000 Alex's style at Opium is to play uplifting funky house, stuff that you're going to go home humming. Spinning since the early 90's, Alex has long been a part of the dance music scene. His ever expanding knowledge and skills in the music industry are sure to take him from great things now to fantastic things in the near future. Whenever Alex is on the lineup, the night will certainly be one to remember because "Whatever it is it's got to be funky".

Alex started Djing back in the late 80's when the dance scene was in its infancy. Alex formed a deadly partnership alongside best friend Brandon Block, call Alex throughout 2007.

GEEZZZAA !!!!
Monthly EXCLUSIVE resident dj for the past FOUR years. Brandon has been around since the beginning of the UK HOUSE club scene. Brandon has already commited himself to the Opium Lounge for 2007 so be prepared to see a lot more of this dance floor legend.

Dave Doyle: OSF & A LA MODE DJ
Dave Doyle or Dj Mystery as he is more commonly known has been around the circut for the past 10 years, apart from a top Dj he is better known for his production skills alongside side Matt Early from Kisum productions. He recently was the Dj for the Erotica show at Londons Olympia, he has been a monthly resident DJ at the Opium Lounge for the past 3 years. With his dance floor anthems & up front House beats he can rock any floor !

Fran Cosgrove: A La Mode DJ
Star of IM A CELEBRITY & CELEBRITY LOVE ISLAND. Has been DJing over the past 2 years, he has been a Bi monthly regular at the club since February 2006, with many dates booked throughout the year you can look forward to hearing a good House set from this Irish celeb.

Tony Nicholls: OSF & A LA MODE DJ
Tony’s music policy spans a wide variety of house music from soulful to uplifting & tribal he plays regularly alongside the likes of Danny Rampling, Bobby & Steve & Brandon Block. Tony is also enjoying success on the production circuit in partnership with, Paul Gardner, one half of the successful Soul Avengerz, under the name TP Project. You can catch Tony every Wednesday from 4pm-6pm on London’s leading House 88.5Fm & www.housefm.net .
